The library is closed for the winter and will reopen March 2025.

 

The Tiny Seed Library will provide samples of vegetable, flower, and herb varieties suited to growing in Madison County. The goals of the library are to (1) educate community members about different varieties and how to grow them, (2) inspire people to begin gardening or diversify their garden, (3) engage people with the urban farm and MCCD and their educational and other programs, and (4) support the development of a community of gardeners.

 

Each seed packet contains enough seed to plant 5 feet of row, just enough to let you try a new variety. Basic planting instructions are attached to each packet.
