Forty-five photos taken on the Berea Urban Farm during the month of June were submitted for the contest. During two weeks of public voting, 116 people voted for their top five photos. The 22 photos receiving the most votes were then evaluated by a panel of three judges who selected first, second and third prize and three honorable mentions. Selection criteria were: 
 

1. Relevance to the spirit of the Berea Urban Farm 

2. Technical quality 

3. Composition and framing 

4. Originality and storytelling

Thanks to all the photographers who have helped to document and share the beauty of the BUF. The public is invited to meet the contest winners at the urban farm on Saturday August 29 at 2pm. Certificates and prizes will be awarded and light refreshments served.
