Prepared soil sample for the soluble salt retest. Soil was collected, dried out in the greenhouse, bagged, labeled and dropped off at the Madison County Extension Office.
Murdoc Green Cabbage and Magic Broccoli will be planted in the garden. The seeds were planted in cells on 12 February, and placed in the greenhouse. I planted three seeds per cell, making sure the germination is good so there would be enough plants for the garden. On 1 March, the extra plants were potted up and will be sold on the Berea Urban Farm when they are ready to be transplanted.
